Sand art is a live art performance made with sand and a lightbox/projector. The artist uses his/her hands to create an image which projects onto a screen. This style of art is especially interesting because the art performance happens right before your eyes and you have no idea how they got sand to look so good in a matter of seconds. The art performance usually has music in the back and tells a story. I’ve seen it on America’s Got Talent before, but here’s a clip of a sand art performance based on Frozen’s “Let it go.”
